Typically we scan the images into a TIFF IV or PDF format and provide them back on CD or DVD in a directory structure, but there are a myriad of other ways we could give the images back to you as well. An example of the directory structure we typically use:

Example for Roll Microfilm
Example for Microfiche
  • DVD 1
            • Folder – “Roll 1″ or “Aero Parts”
              • All the images that were on roll 1
            • Folder – “Roll 2″ or “Student Records”
              • All the images that were on roll 2
  • DVD 1
    • Folder – “Jacket 1″ or “Grade Sheets”
      • All the images that were on fiche
    • Folder – “Jacket 2″ or “Transcripts”
      • All the images that were on fiche 2

** We can provide record-level indexing if you desire (basically creating a new multi-page image for each file folder that was filmed).

*** If you have a CAR (computer aided retrieval) system that enables you to search records on a PC and locate the roll # and frame # we have the capability to use that system to populate the index values for your scanned records (Substantially reducing indexing costs).
